Help shape the future of AI support in Northern Ireland

Take 15 minutes to help shape what's next for AI support across Northern Ireland.

The Artificial Intelligence Collaboration Centre (AICC) is calling on organisations across Northern Ireland to have their say on the future of AI support.

Whether your organisation is already using AI, exploring its potential or unsure where to begin, we want to hear from you.

Our Regional AI Support Survey aims to better understand where organisations are on their AI journey, the challenges they're facing and what support they need to adopt AI effectively and responsibly.

The insights gathered will help shape AICC's future priorities while also providing valuable evidence to inform wider strategic planning, collaboration and support across Northern Ireland's AI ecosystem.

What will the survey explore?

We're inviting organisations to share their perspectives on:

• AI adoption and readiness: Where your organisation is on its AI journey and how you're currently using or exploring the technology.
• Challenges and barriers: What's preventing your organisation from adopting or scaling AI effectively.
• AI skills and capability: The skills, training and expertise needed to build confidence and capability.
• Responsible AI: Your organisation's approach to AI governance, risk management and responsible adoption.
• Future support needs: The practical assistance, resources and expertise that would be most valuable.
• Events and engagement: How and where your organisation would prefer to access learning, support and opportunities to collaborate.
• Northern Ireland's AI ecosystem: Your views on existing strengths, gaps and opportunities for future development.

How will your feedback make a difference?

This research is about more than understanding the current state of AI adoption. It's about using real organisational insight to inform what happens next.

The findings will help AICC shape future activity across:

• AI awareness, skills and workforce development
• Responsible AI, governance and data readiness
• Practical business support and AI implementation
• Events, workshops and regional engagement
• Digital resources, guidance and learning opportunities
• Research, innovation and industry collaboration

Importantly, the research will also help identify wider opportunities, support gaps and shared priorities across Northern Ireland's AI ecosystem.

Your feedback will help ensure future support is informed by the real needs of organisations, not assumptions about what those needs might be.

Who should complete the survey?

We welcome responses from organisations of all sizes, sectors and regions across Northern Ireland, including:

• SMEs, start-ups and larger businesses
• Public sector organisations
• Academic and research organisations
• Charities, social enterprises and voluntary organisations
• Industry bodies, business networks and ecosystem partners

You don't need to be an AI expert or have already adopted AI to take part.

The survey is intended for individuals responding on behalf of their organisation, particularly those with insight into its current challenges, priorities, operations or future development.
